The Heatcon transmitter is a head mount type of temperature transmitter that accepts thermocouple, RTD, ohm, or DC millivolt input and converts it to a 4 to 20mA DC signal for transmission.
The transmitters intended for industrial applications detect the temperature with a Pt100 RTD temperature probe with 2-wire or 3-wire connection. The output signal 4 to 20 mA is provided as temperature-linear. The continuous analog signal path allows for extremely quick output reaction times in the event of a temperature change.
