This drive system permits fast opening and closing times without bouncing of the boom barrier in end positions. The special lever system ensures that the boom barrier is locked in both end positions. For boom barrier lengths of over 3 metres, a counterweight balancing spring is used. In the event of a power failure, however, it can be easily operated manually.   the complete drive system is installed on a metal base frame and can be detached easily by removing 4 bolts. The boom barrier weight is exactly balanced by means of a counterweight spring.
