Barrel Emptying Pumps are used for transferring liquid from barrels to storage tanks. Unlike Centrifugal pumps which have to be primed every time the hose pipe is removed from the barrel, these pumps don't need priming everty time. These pumps are SELF-PRIMING. After emptying one barrel the suction hose can be removed and inserted into the second barrel, thereby the barrels can be emptied continously without a break.
