Centrifugal fans and blowers typically have one of six types of wheels that draw the air into the inlet of the blower housing and discharges it at 90 degrees out through the discharge of the housing. Indair designs and manufactures centrifugal fans for wide range of pressure, direction of discharge and power to suit customer requirement. Many of the blowers in varying capacities are available in standard specifications. However, we specialize in offering one-off tailor made designs as well to suit customer specifications. The two most common types of centrifugal blowers are pressure blowers and volume blowers. Pressure blowers are designed to draw or push air at high pressures, generally rated in Pascal, Bar or SPWG (Static Pressure Water Gauge) in mm or inches. These blowers are used in burners, furnaces, glass cooling plants etc. Volume blowers are designed to draw or push larger volumes of air, generally rated in CFM (Cubic Feet per minute) or CMH (Cubic Meter per Hour). Centrifugal blowers are typically made of fabricated mild steel, stainless steel or cast aluminum, rarely in inconel, Cast iron and special steels too.
