The Krya Calming After-Sun Face Mask is made from a special batch of medicated mung beans. The mung beans have been pre-soaked in a medicinal decoction of a special Ayurvedc herb, Majishtha, before drying and processing. This pre-process takes us between 3 – 5 days before production, making the Krya calming after sun face mask one of the trickiest and labor intensive products manufactured by us.
Manjishta is revered in Ayurveda for being a blood cleansing and rejuvenating herb, and regular use clears up and evens out complexion. It also helps to soothe irritated and dull skin.
Apart from Manjistha, the Krya Calming After-Sun Face Mask contains herbs like Indian Liquorice and Rosemary which help replenish moisture and combat sun damage to skin.
The Krya Calming After-Sun Face Mask is made completely from a carefully researched formulation inspired by Indian traiditional medicine. All of Krya’s products use only forest collected or organically grown grains, lentils and herbs, and contain no synthetics.
A common synthetic chemical used in de-pigmenting and blemish removing products is hydroquinone. This is a common synthetic skin lightener, but in doing so it can have many harmful effects on your skin – It permanently alters your pigment while weakening elastin and collagen in your blemished area – which weakens your skin’s integral structure and affects how toned and firm your skin looks. It also tends to trigger contact dermatitis and allergic reactions with regular use.
