SPARK PLASMA SINTERING
Get Price Quote
Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) or Field Assisted Sintering Technology is a new way of Sintering materials by generating heat internally by using DC current as opposed to conventional methods of material densification such as hot pressing, wherein the heat is external to sample. What sets SPS apart from traditional methods is the significant savings of time and energy and well preserved nano-structure of sample. While conventional methods take several hours to reach the peak temperature, SPS takes only minutes.
