Test and Reset Function
Power Supply is connected to Terminals 6 and 12.
When the Motor is in range of operating condition All Red LEDs are OFF and Relay
is energized Terminals 1 and 2 are Closed and 3 and 4 are Open .Red LED is On
and Relay Terminals 1 and 2 is Open during temperature overload Condition and
Relay Terminals 1 and 2 in Close. Accidental breaks in the Power Source to
Thermistor Protection unit is also detected which ensures Final Safe.
This Thermistor Protection unit activate alarm when probe resistance exceeds 3k + 5%.
Operating temperature alarm get reseted in resistance lower then 1.5 k,+5% during
motor cool down.
Resetting function not enable until resistance reach lower then 1.5 k,+5% which
ensures motor cool down to its operating temperature.
Operating Conditions :
Sensor Short :
Thermistor short circuit is detected by device if resistance is lower than 20 and
Red LED blinks and Relay gets de energized and resets Thermistor resistance is
greater than 20.
Thermistor open circuit detected by device if resistance is greater than 4500 and
Red LED blinks and Relay gets de energized
Sensor Open :
When Test Key is pressed all Red LEDs are On and Relay is de-energized .
When Reset Key is pressed all Red LEDs are Off and Relay is energized
