Laminated Glass is two or more panes of glass with one or more layers of PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) sandwiched between them and treated. In case of glass breakage, the glass fragments remain adhered to PVB film reducing the risk of injury. This glass is also called Security Glass. This glass is often called HS Glass and its’ process is almost same except that cooling is done at a much slower pace. The surface and edge stress also differs from Tempered Glass. The other difference is when this glass breaks the fragmentation is quite large similar to breaking pattern of Annealed Glass. H S Glass is 2 times stronger than Annealed Glass. Distinguished Properties: STRONG HS Glass is 2 times stronger than Annealed Glass but if it breaks, it breaks in to large shards.
