The mesh has to be cut for the required length and niled so that the mesh runs 2′ on either side of the joint and nailing has to be dome at a distance of 1 feet apart. While fixing the mesh has to be pulled about 1/2 an inch for every feet so that the mesh sits firmly on the surface. A thin coat of mortar has to be applied over the mesh and water curing done. After the morter is set final plaster is applied. A high quality plaster mesh (expanded galvanized iron mesh) for primarily as an anti cracking reinforcement in the construction of brick and block masonry, plastering of all beam and wall column joints to avoid cracks, plastering over chasing works, strengtheining low walls and balconies.
