The final product is granules of tea popularly known as “daanedar chai”. Our processes ensure that our products are free from any physical, chemical and microbiological issues. Accumulations of harmful pesticides in the food chain, and Bio-Concentration of chemicals are such issues which have attracted a lot of attention, and the Company has initiated remedial action in Compliance of recent Tea Board/ Central Govt’s guidelines in this direction. Recommended pesticides are being used, and respect is shown at each tropic level of the food chain.  Product Mix : The CTC Black Tea Leaves come in various grades and the Company has a healthy product mix which is aligned with the changing market requirements. The recovery in the Tea Market and improvement in the overall scenario has bolstered the hopes of the industry and this estate. The various grades comprises of BROKENS, FANNINGS and DUST. Brokens – BPS, BOPL, BOP, BOPSM, and BP. True brokens are teas which result from leaf broken up during the rolling processes and not made from broken in a Tea Breaker, e.g. (BOP) Broken Orange Pekoe. Fannings are grades produced from sifting, e.g. Broken Pekoe (BP). Fanning’s come from coarser leaf broken in cutters. Fannings denotes small pieces of Tea. The name originated from the fact that the fannings were originally separated from the large pieces of leaf by fanning. However, today these grades are now separated mechanically and consist of pieces of leaf which pass through a 14-mesh sieve and over a 24-mesh sieve. Tea that fails to pass through 14-mesh includes the Brokens and the leaf grades that which passes through the 24 mesh is Dust. Dust : A grade of Black Tea. Dust (D) is, as the name implies, the smallest grade consisting merely grains of Tea, the smallest particles excluding fluff and stalk are graded as Dust. The name does not suggest anything derogatory as to quality. In fact, the tea is very useful for quick brewing and the liquors produced have both strength and color. CD (Churamoni Dust) - A dust grade of CTC tea. FD (Fine Dust) - A dust grade of CTC tea. PD (Pekoe Dust) - A dust grade of CTC tea.   Packaging of Tea There are two brands namely Black Label and Blue Label. And both the teas are being packed in two different sizes. 250 gms and 1 Kg packet. Blue Label : Blue Labelis the premium brand which costs about Rs 250/- per Kg. Black Label : Black Label is little inferior which will cost about Rs 200/- per Kg
