It is often necessary to drill or machine parts at an angle of 27° 30’. We offer adjustable angle heads for this purpose. All types feature a stable steel housing, preloaded spindle bearings; lubrication; hardened and lapped spiral bevel gears, transmission ratio 1:1, fixed direction of rotation; housing rotatable by 360° in the drive axis and with 2 x 90° horizontal swing; rotational and geometrical precision. We are naturally also prepared to adapt these heads to your machines and requirements.

Universal Angle Head or Miling Head is ideally suitable for VMC/HMC for improving productivity, by avoiding number of setups. We offer right angle head. Salient features: - 1. housing is made of aluminium alloy casting. 2. input & output spindle is made from 20mncr5 case carburized & hardened to 52 to 55hrc & finished ground within run-out accuracy of 5 micron. 3. the assemble accuracy of the head is max 10 micron 4. bevel gear is manufactured from 20mncr5 hardened & ground. 5. stopper is provided for right angle head to suit the machine.

Extra-large tools can be loaded automatically from a tool rack or spare pallet station, such as very long and heavy angle head attachments. The turning speed is fully programmable with constant surface speed control as on a conventional CNC lathe.

In other words, the spindle of the universal head can be positioned at any desired angle – at circular planes or at oscillating plane or at a combination plane of both circular and oscillating positions, 2 pairs of spiral bevel gears and 3rotating shafts provide 360° variable, universal orientation facilities, The flange module and central module have circular T slots, so that the spindle module can tilt on the central module and the central module can tilt on the flange module. While the flange and the central modules are with horizontal axes, the angle between the central and module and vertical spindle module has a unique 45° interface.The drive system consists of 3 shafts (including the spindle) with well-designed, rigid bearing supports and with 2 pairs of bevel gears, Recommended max. spindle speeds with standard taper roller bearing: 700 RPM.
