Copper: Annealed electrolytic copper conductor with diameter of 0.4mm & 0.5 mm as per IEC28 and ASTM B3. Insulation: Conductor insulation is Solid HDPE insulation. Cable Core: Two insulated conductors are twisted together to form a pair with uniform specific lay length .Cable is assembled by stranding of 5 Pairs, 10 pairs & 20pairs basic subunit. Boasting of excellent insulation and electrical resistance property, this Cat5 Cable is easy to install and attach to different other types of cables available. It is ideally suited for horizontal installation in local area network or LANs and is available in standard sizes and customized options.

Category 6 cable, commonly referred to as cat 6, is a standardized twisted pair cable for ethernet and other network physical layers that is backward compatible with the category 55e and category 3 cable standards.

Cat5 cable is broken into two separate categories: Cat5 and Cat5E cables. Cat5 has become obsolete in recent years, due to its limitations compared to Cat5E and Cat6 cables. Although the Cat5 cable can handle up to 10/100 Mbps at a 100MHz bandwidth (which was once considered quite efficient), the newer versions of Cat cables are significantly faster. Category 5 cable is used in structured cabling for computer networks such as Ethernet over twisted pair. AMP Category 6 cables exceed 2nd Edition and proposed TIA requirements for Category 6 performance. They comply with all of the performance requirements for current and proposed applications such as Gigabit Ethernet, 100BASE-Tx, token ring, 155 Mbps ATM, 100 Mbps TP-PMD, ISDN, analog (broadband, baseband) and digital video and analog and digital (VoIP) voice. The cables are available in PVC and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) and packaged Reel in a Box and on wooden reels.

LAN (local area network) cable or Ethernet cable includes cat5e, cat6, and cat7 twisted pair cable. A LAN is a network that connects devices such as computers or printers to each other and then will connect out to the internet or phone lines via a WAN (wide area network). The cable that connects all of the devices in a LAN today is Ethernet cable. This cable comes in cat5e, cat6, and cat7; each is progressively faster and a cleaner connection than its predecessor but cat6 Ethernet cable is the most common. The Ethernet cable wiring consists of 4 pairs: whiteorange and orange, whitegreen and green, whiteblue and blue, and whitebrown and brown. Each of these pairs of wire is twisted onto each other and the four pairs are also twisted. The tighter the twist on the cable the cleaner the signal is as this reduces crosstalk or EMI (electro-magnetic-interference).
