AC single phase speed control motor is a combination of Induction motor with taco generator for feedback & Electronic speed controller. The supply is given to Electronic speed control unit which controls the phase angle of power being supplied to the motor. The feedback is taken from the speed control motor to maintain the desired speed. Suitable for continuous operation, the speed of the motor can be varied by rotating knob of electronic controller over a wide range of 90 ~ 1400 RPM for 50 HZ supply. The controlcircuitry is given upon the front panel andsockets are given to observe the motorvoltage and current waveforms. Since it is aline operated unit thus isolation is provided bysmall transformer at the observation points.This demonstration unit use the smallinduction motor 220V.
