Silicone Coated Fiberglass Tape is made of bulk fiberglass with silicone rubber coating. It can protect hoses, wires winding. Also, it can be installed in situations where tubular Fire Sleeve cannot be used, and when hoses, wires and cables cannot be disconnected and cables from the hazards of high temperature and occasional flame. When exposed to flame, the silicone rubber coating transforms to a crust, creating a protective SiO2 refractory layer. The tape is usually used to wrap complex shapes or varied dimension tapered pipes. Typically, the tape is overlapped by 50% when for sleeving it up
