Operating Principle of Pounding Machine A pounding machine consists of a set of heavy steel pounds, loosely held vertically in a frame, in which the pounds can slide up and down. They are lifted by cams on a horizontal rotating shaft. On Indian Machine Mart pounding machine, the cam is arranged to lift the pounds from the side, so that it causes the pound to rotate. As the cam moves from under the pounds, the pounds falls onto the material below, crushing the rock, spices, roots etc and the lifting process is repeated at the next pass of the cam. Indian Machine Mart specially designed liver to lock/unlock the pounding process. Sieving can be done while hammering is locked/stopped. OPERATING  INSTRUCTIONS :  It is recommended to ensure oiling of oil cups, bearings, striking bars, filter clamps, vertical & horizontal wheels after every four hours’ working. Greasing of quarter shaft every fifteen days On reduction of pressure of striking bars, belts should be oiled & tightened below the quarter shaft to ensure smooth working. NOTE : No warranty or guarantee of any kind is undertaken in case of having installed electric motor by purchasing it from other sources or mounted on the shaft producing 450 RPM or cam shaft 100 RPM resulting into more then 95 to 100 kg pressure per minute
