We are provided Split sleeve on Oil seal area of this shaft. since the Lower Journal Housing fitted on this shaft and to protect Bearing from Dust and other particles, Rubber Seal is used to protect the same., but after some used the Rubber Seal cut the shaft and form the Grooves on the shaft, from that grooves dust and other particles entered in the Housing and damage the Bearings, to protect the Bearings we are providing Split Sleeve on the area where Rubber Seal rotates. It is made of EN 31Material, Hardened up to 55 to 60 RC and ground finish ( Smooth ) so Rubber seal easily rotate on it and since the Sleeve material is Hard, so it will take a long time to form the grooves.
