Within the swf die cast body is the Tapered designed drum to provide effortless operation of the swf series when the wire rope is extended or retrieved. The swf upper top hook is forged and fitted with a safety spring and also swivels 360 degrees. The swf bottom hook is high strength alloy steel for the proper securing of tools and equipment. On the top of the swf balancer is a secondary support cable point where a safety chain can be attached in the unlikely failure of the top hook.So overall the swf series spring balancers are the most common and the most available for all standard types of zero balancing.   Remember! while making a selection:- The Total Weight of equipment and cables is the Capacity.   The length of travel is how far the cable will travel from the unit (workable Length).

A slight pull on the cable release the lock which functions like a window shade. Lock feature may be disengaged externally when constant tension is required.
