They insulate the hot surface, ensuring energy conservation, protection of operators and providing comfortable work environment. These are typically used as a backing over the heating jacket or heating panel, to ensure better heat efficiencies and minimal energy loss is minimal. The flexible construction of 'thermo insulation pads' enables tailoring to any complex shapes and providing a perfect, snug fit on complex shaped surfaces. Construction insulation pads consist of 2" thick (or as required) lagging of fibre glass wool insulation, embedded in two layers of fibre glass cloth. Outer layer of fibre glass cloth can be flame retardant aluminized or pvc coated or teflon coated as required. The final pad is shaped based on the required surface to be insulated to encapsulate the surface or equipment in it. Required cutouts for obstructions and velcrow or eyelets and strapping lays are provided to make it snug fit on the surface or equipment.
