The DR/W range of door retainers offer new standards of performance and aesthetics for fire detection systems requiring electromagnetic fire door retainer’s. Each door retainer is fitted with a spring loaded release pin mounted centrally within the electromagnet. On power off, the release pin then ensures that the fire door is pushed away from the electromagntA replaceable fuse is fitted to each magnet, together with a spark quenching diode and protection against reverse polarity. All the electromagnets have been tested and comply with the latest requirements of EN61000-3-2 and EN5008-1. The new low profile housing results in an attractive and robust design. The detailed use of rubber seals coupled with moulding design has resulted in a high degree of protection against moisture ingress.
