working principle
the fluid flow increases the float to pass through the tapered tube. Greater the flow, the higher the float is raised. In liquid service, the float increases due to an amalgamation of the buoyancy of the liquid and the speed head of the fluid. With gases, buoyancy is slight, and the float reacts mostly to the speed head.
