  This is a variant of PMSM Motors. A PMSM motor is designed in a higher torque rating with lower base speed is called a direct motor or torque motor. Using this motor a machine designer can eliminate the use of Gear box particularly increase the load inertia is not very high. This motor is available in hollow shaft version, through shaft version also to completely remove the engineering of coupling also.
