Gear blank is the work piece which is processed to give the final shape of gears. To maintain uninterrupted flow of quality turned blanks, NAW has laid out an exclusive CNC Turning set up comprising of about 80 CNC machines. The unit also contains host of conventional and broaching machines. Facilities available are: CNC Turning Machines Twin Spindle CNC Machines Horizontal Broaching Machines   Vertical Machining Centre Vertical Broaching Machine Facing and Centering up to 1000mm.

Raw Forgings are the essential ingredient for the gear industry. Dedicated and captive forging unit which produces 12000 metric tons of forgings annually meets the forging requirement of NAW substantially. The facilities include: Tool Room with all the modern facilities for die designing, manufacturing, trimming & coining tools and die maintenance etc. Drop Forging Hammer - range 500 gms to 10 kgs per set Cleaning facilities with shot - blasting & tumbling capabilities.   Steel shearing machine up to 5'' capacity.
