Neem Oil is derived from pressing the seeds of Neem tree, which may contain up to 50 percent oil by weight. The cleansing, purifying and skin-healing herb Neem efficiently checks microbial growth, relieves skin irritation and inflammation, lightens scars and pigmentation, and prevents all types of skin infections and allergies.
Neem contains therapeutically active phytochemicals known as ‘limonoids’, which are responsible for various therapeutic effects. Azadirachtin, the most renowned one, is mainly present in seed oil. This limonoid endows excellent germicidal effect to Neem Oil.

Indications :
Neem Oil is extremely useful in the following conditions:
Acute and Chronic Skin Infections and Allergies, such as ringworm, eczema, scabies and other microbial manifestations of the skin
Healing of wounds and abrasions
Treatment of Body and Head lice
Protection against plaque and allied periodontal disorders.4 Neem Oil is diluted in water and used as gargles for this purpose. In another study, 3% Neem was observed to be the most effective toothbrush decontaminant as against 2% triclosan, 0.2% chlorhexidine and 1% sodium hypochlorite.
Neem Oil can also be added to Pet Shampoo to kill ticks. The Oil effectively kills ticks and fleas when sprayed over their commonly used area.
