The resulting product is characterised by high quality and purity, thanks to which it has obtained the PZH certificate. The product also fulfils the requirements of the latest edition of European Pharmacopoeia, which defines basic quality requirements and research methods, among which are pharmaceutical raw materials.
In the cosmetics industry, caustic soda is used in the manufacture of hard (sodium) soap, washing detergents, exfoliating mask (peeling and chemical dermabrasion) and aseptics. In the petrochemical industry, the product is used for the refining of crude oil, mineral oils, pitches, asphalt and the extraction of shale gas. In refineries and coking plants, caustic soda is used to modify products from coking coal. In the steel and metallurgical industry, it is used for the production of aluminium from bauxite processing.
