Woven polyester filter fabrics are used essentially in either shaker bag filters and reverse air cleaning bag filters. Due to their relatively low filtering velocity, & demand for tensile strength values due to their unique bag tensioning, woven fabrics are used in RABH, (though some recent successful developments have been made by us to replace these with more efficient needle felts.) We use only filament yarns which are "texturised" for very high flow in our fabrics. Our basis weight is between 375 to 425 gsm depending on applications. If properly installed, woven reverse air filter bags have often seen lifetimes crossing 4 years !!
