It is primarily used for sealing membrane joints, and as a sealing collar for fixing plugs where they penetrate membranes, as part of the waterproofing system. Remove silicon release backing paper and offer other surface to the Sealing Rope and push firmly to ensure an effective joint along the full length. When used as a collar for fixing plugs, cut Rope to length, remove silicon backing paper and wrap around plug shank against fixing head prior to fixing.
