Annealed conductors are bunched together on custom built heavy duty bunching machines. Insulation: Inner cores are coded for identification as per National/International coding system or as per customer’s specifications. Inner Sheath: Cables having two or more cores are provided with a common inner sheath applied either by PVC extrusion or by with PVC tape. Armouring: The armour is of round galvanised steel wires or flat galvanised steel wire designed to give mechanical protection, which is why the cable is often used for external use. The Armour is used to reduce any risk of the cable getting pinched or damaged; the steel is used to protect the armoured cable. Outer Sheath: The outer sheath is of PVC conforming to the requirement of standards or customer.
