Management Team
Founder: Dr. Pranjali Kapoor
With over 18 years of experience in consulting, education, and art, Dr. Pranjali Kapoor brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Nirhari Handicrafts. Her diverse background, which includes an MBA and Ph.D. in Management, has equipped her with the skills to guide the company’s vision and ensure its sustainable growth. Dr. Kapoor’s professional journey includes consulting for corporate brands like American Express and Getit Infoservices (Yellow Pages). She has also authored the book “Crux of Management” and published several research papers.
In 2017, she founded Unnat Academy, an institution dedicated to coaching children in art, craft, painting, and extracurricular activities. Nirhari Handicrafts not only promotes sustainable artistry but also supports women and college-going girls by offering them opportunities to earn and support their education.
Co-Founder: Dr. Pramila Singh
Dr. Pramila Singh, with over 30 years of experience as an art professor and educator, serves as the co-founder and creative driving force behind Nirhari Handicrafts. A Retired Professor from M.G.C.G. University, Chitrakoot, Dr. Singh holds an M.F.A. from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and a Ph.D. in art. Throughout her illustrious career, she has designed murals, crafted large sculptures, and contributed to art exhibitions worldwide, including in Japan, Canada, the U.S.A., and Korea.
Dr. Singh’s deep expertise in art and craft makes her an invaluable asset in leading the product design and development process. Her passion for environmental sustainability and artistic excellence ensures that every product we create reflects our mission of sustainability and creativity.
Our Contributions
Crafted numerous sculptures and murals at institutions like M.G.C.G. University, Gandhi Gram Rural Institute, and the North Central Zone Cultural Center.
Exhibited paintings and conducted workshops internationally, including at the Paris Art Gallery.
Organized workshops for children to promote creativity and environmental awareness through artistic expression.
