I. Foulds & Son Ltd of U.K. to manufacture Nylon Cored Leather Power Transmission Belts. The belts sold by this company under the brand name “GRIPIT” Have established a reputation for high quality and reliability in the Indian Industry. With this success, an associate company called K.F. Belting Private Ltd. was set up to extend the product range, to cover Nylon Cored Rubber Power Transmission Belts. These are sold under the company’s own brand name and cover the entire range of belting required for normal drives, tangential drives and spindle drives. In 1987, the company established in-house facilities for manufacture of extruded, oriented and stabilized nylon strips required for the core of all its belting. State-of-the-art technology was obtained by having technical collaboration with M/s Jos. Poeschl’s Sohne of Austria. All the special purpose machinery was purchased from them. The company is a firm believer in the principle that continuous Research and Development is the only way to maintain customer satisfaction and market leadership. To this end, the company has set up special in house R & D facilities like a sophisticated digital control test rig and well equipped testing laboratory.
