Brass Ingots & Castings are manufactured as per IS:292-1983 Reaffirmed 2004 Standard Specifications. This standard covers the requirements of 2 Grades of Leaded Brass Ingots & Castings which are designated as LCB 1 & LCB 2. The Brass Ingots cast are of uniform quality and reasonably free from slag, dross and other harmful contaminations. The Castings prepared are made clean, free from harmful defects such as blow holes and gas cavities. They have different mechanical and electrical properties depending on their Zinc Content which vary from 5% - 45%. Brass Ingots are used for remelting for producing castings that have varied applications. They are used in Decorative applications, in architectural hardware like doorknobs and handrails. They are used for making musical instruments, nuts, bolts and threaded parts, terminals, jets, Taps and Injectors. In our Foundry, we are chiefly manufacturing Brass Rods, Brass Hollow Casting & Castings involving Chill Die Casting & Sand Casting as per drawings and specifications.
