PEEK polymer is used in SUNTECH® thrust bearings for high temperature 200°C (392°F), high load applications 8 MPa (1 ,1 60 psi) in the electrical Rotodynamic Product market. PEEK retains a high level of mechanical integrity when exposed to steam or water at elevated temperatures and pressures, allowing for an innovative alternative solution for hydropower applications. The material can be specifically adapted to applications that demand low wear and friction, high load capacity and longer service life.
