Laparoscopic port closure is a surgical procedure that closes and secures the incisions made during laparoscopic surgery. It's important to close the ports properly to reduce the risk of complications like hematoma and hernia.Laparoscopic and robotic surgery is widely practiced in modern medicine. The operative procedure is not complete until the port sites are closed with a fascial suture.The suture for port closure (1-0 PDS) is introduced into the abdominal cavity by using a needle.
