Each block of coir pith weighs approximately 5 kg (dry weight) and measures about 30 cm × 30 cm × 12 cm.
When rehydrated, one block expands to 70–80 litres of growing medium. Blocks are fully dried (moisture below 15%) before export.
A. Shrink-Wrap / LDPE Film (Most Common) - Each block is wrapped with a transparent plastic film and heat sealed. - Prevents moisture absorption and keeps the block clean. - Strongly recommended for exports to Middle East, Europe, and Korea. B. Polybag Packing - Each block is packed in a thin printed polybag with specifications or branding. - Used for retail or branded shipments. C. Loose Packing (Unwrapped) - Blocks are not individually wrapped; stacked directly in container. - Lower packing cost but higher risk of moisture absorption.
