COBIT’s Apron Conveyors are designed to handle heavy, lumpy and abrasive materials such as ores, coal, stones, cullet, steel scrap and other material that will ruin lighter type of conveyors. COBIT Apron Conveyor consists of overlapping steel slats carried over two endless stands of conveyor chains. Aprons have overlapping side plates to confine the load and eliminate skirt board throughout the length. Outboard rollers are provided outside chain strands to simplify maintenance and replacement. These rollers are designed to save power and reduce wear.
