Asfocoat-drp is a liquid chemical product used for surface preparation of metals before painting. The objective of treating metals with asfocoat-drp, before painting is to prolong the life of paints by offering it a �compatible� surface to which it will be locked. Asfocoat-drp removes oils, rust, soils, etc. And forms a phosphate coating integral with metal surface. Pretreating metals with asfocoat-drp offers the following advantages :- 1.Prevents under paint corrosion 2.Prevents spreading of rust from a damaged area to sound area adjoining it 3.Increases paint adhesion with metal substrate 4.Prevents paints from peeling or flaking off 5.Enhances durability and life of paints Aasfocoat-drp can be easily applied by swab, brush or dip after dilution with water at room temperature. After 5-10 minutes, the surface is simply wiped dry with a cloth. The surface is now ready to accept any type of paints or primers. asfocoat-drp can be applied on any ferrous metals. Few applications are on steel furniture such as chairs, tables, cupboards, cabinets, safes, lighting patties, luminaries, printers, copiers, duplicators, computer systems, typewriters boilers, heat exchangers, coolers, air conditioners, slotted angles and various other equipment machineries and fabrications, that are to be paintedor powder coated. Corobit-410 (water based rust preventive) description : corobit-410 is a liquid base rust preventive which is soluble in all proportions with water. Depending on the concentration used corobit-410 provides protection from 7 days to 6 months or more in indoor conditions. Uses : it can be used on all ferrous and non-ferrous metals without causing any metal loss or corrosion. Unlike petroleum based rust preventive corobit-410 does not damage rubber, plastic, paints etc. When used in dilution up to 25% with water. Application : corobit-410 can be used by dip, swab, brush or by spray in a plastic or metal container. Depending on the protection period required it can be used direct or diluted up to 40 times with water. For interim protection of 24 to 48 hours, it can be used at a concentration of 1-2% and the film produced at such concentration is almost non-existent. however, make sure that the surfaces are absolutely clean before application of corobit-410. Removal : corobit-410 film need not be removed. However if it needs to be removed simply wipe it off with dry cloth or slightly wet cloth. Packing : 6 kgs, 12 kgs & 40 kgs.

Corobit-410 manufactured by ashok industry is a water soluble rust preventive which is used for protection of ferrous parts and components from rust and corrosion for periods ranging from one week to six months. Corobit-410 can be diluted from 2 parts to 40 parts with water depending on the protection period required. unlike petroleum based rust preventives, it does not harm rubber, polymers, or painted surfaces and the filmcoating need not be removed or is easily removable with water if so desired. Corobit-410 is available in 6 kgs and 40 kgs hdpe carboys.
