The heat generated by an electromagnetic field melts the heat seal layer and bonds the foil to the mouth of the container The heat also melts the wax which is absorbed by the porous base liner. Upon removal of the cap, the foil is sealed to the neck of the container while the wax-impregnated with the pulp is retained inside the closure for resealing purpose. This Seal primarily consist of a : Backing : Retain the liner in the closure and provides the compressibility necessary to attain a seal and the rigidty. Separates from foil facing when closer is removed. Backing is made of Pulp Board of varying grades and thickness/EPE/EPE foam (XLPE). Wax Layer : Temporarily bonds the pulp packing to the foil facing. When heated by the induction heat sealer the wax is absorbed into the backing. FOIL : Provides tamper evidence, Oxygen and moisuture barriers and branding opportunities. Material-Aluminium / polyester/ paper (glassine/ poster/ craft)/ polymers.
