Circular threaded coupling connectors, as the name suggests are connectors which mate using a threaded arrangement. These connectors are made in accordance to Defence Standard Joint Services Specification JSS 50812, which is a derivation of the MIL-C-5015, USA Military specifications. Initially designed for military applications, but currently they find wide application in the industries due to their strength and reliability. The shell is made of aluminium, making them rugged and light weight, having a life of at least 500 mating cycles. Olive drab coating gives the connectors excellent corrosion resistance. The insulators are made of high grades of Polychloroprene, which resilient to environmental conditions for a wide temperature range of -55˚C to +125˚C. Various accessories increases the areas of application of the connectors and numerous contact arrangements can provide for all the needs of the customer.
