Air Water Coolers for generator are available in several designs and with different materials and are tailor made according to customer requirement. These are directly coupled to generator to cool the circuit air. They are also provided with leakage detectors and humidity sensors to avoid the water entering the generator in case of leakage.

Also called asreheater is used to heat up the massecuite which just cooled down in the crystallisers. The massecuite is cooled in the crystallisers in order to grow the crystals by depositing sucrose in the mother liquor onto the crystals created in the pan. The reason to reheat the massecuite is to reduce the viscosity of the massecuite to make the separation of the crystal from the mother liquor in the centrifugal easier. If the crystallisers have been doing their work properly the massecuite will be at about 40°C. In order to be free spinning the massecuite should be heated to about 55°C. The hot water water temperature should not exceed the massecuite outlet temperature by more than 2 or 3°C. Our Double wall type coolers are designed and manufactured with special care where transformer oil cooling is a critical application. Because we understand that failure in transformer due to cooler leakage may lead to heavy financial losses. Unlike single tube coolers, this execution of the tube bundle requires double tubes. This special safety design prevents the chances of water and oil mixing in heat exchanger and also the cooling water pressure is not limited by oil pressure. Also the processes need not to be terminated immediately after the failure. Thus keeping the transformer in service. In case of leakage, water or oil is led into the chamber between tubes and the tube plates, therefore the double tube system always prevents water and oil from mixing.The double tube design is the most valid solution to protect the transformer, especially when, using sea or industrial water, and where the site maintenance is not easy. In case of leakage an alarm is provided to a leakage detector provided at the collecting box fitted to the cooler.
