vitcon 211 tile fix is a cementitious base powder specially formulated for adhesion of ceramic tiles and marble cladding to building surfaces. vitcon 211 tile fix is comprised of selected grades of portland cement admixed with synthetic polymeric additives to suit various requirements of thick/thin bed performance.technical specifications appearance light grey powder storage away from direct sunlight. shelf life 12 months.   applications   addition of water in powder at the ratio of approximately 12 or 13 by weight depending upon the requirement in consistency for different applications. gently stir the mix with trowel until a uniform thick consistency is achieved. apply the mix directly to the surface and press the tile firmly over it. the process can be alternated with applying the mix to the back of the tile and pressing it on the surface. tiles used should be pre-soaked in water. a 3mm thickness between tile and the surface is recommended for better performance. remove the surplus mixture from the tiles with a damp cloth. we recommend leaving the tiles for 24hrs after fixing before filling the joints with vitcon 212 tile jf or equivalent material.
