Basirhat Honey Cultivators R.E.H. Indl. Co-op. Society Limited was founded in the heart of North 24 Parganas, close to
the scenic Sundarbans. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when economic challenges affected many families, our
founder/Chief Organizer Mr. Dipon Biswas took a courageous step by resigning from his successful career to unite local,
unorganized beekeepers into a cooperative. His vision was to provide sustainable income opportunities and support the
local economy.We are proud to champion the Rural Entrepreneurship Hub (REH) model, a dynamic initiative designed to build sustainable livelihoods and empower rural communities. By uniting local beekeepers in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, we provide them with essential resources, expert training, and unwavering support.
Our focus lies on uplifting youth and women, fostering a culture of resilience and innovation. Through this model, we drive economic growth, nurture small enterprises, and create meaningful job opportunities.
