Axis Engineering was established as a proprietorship concern in the year 2009 by Mr. Mahesh Shinde as a proprietor. The overall management of the firm is overseen by Mr. Mahesh Shinde. Registered office and head office of the concern is located at Gala No. 8, Shivraj Complex, Sector No. 7, Bhosari MIDC, Pune -411026 spread across a total area of 340 sq. ft.
At present there are 7 employees all of whom are permanent. As informed by the management, the workers are not affiliated with any trade unions and a cordial relationship exists between the workers and the management.

Axis Engineering is engaged in the process of manufacturing of metal cutting tools. The firm outsources all its manufacturing process as per customer specification on job work basis. The product profile consists of farm cutter, wood-ruff cutter, end mill, bull nose, special carbide tools,solid carbide drill, reamer etc. The major raw materials used for the manufacturing purpose comprises of MS round bar, solid carbide, etc which are procured from local suppliers located in Pune and Mumbai, Maharashtra. The firm majorly caters to engineering and metal industries.
