During casting or green stage, controlling rate of reaction between various raw materials like Quick lime , aluminum powder and silica from Sand and cement etc is paramount to the stability of mould. KVN -108 acts as a catalyst as well as retarder. KVN- 108 contents a Plasticizer or a Super plasticizer either a non-surface active polymer or usually a blend of all to improve the bonding of particles and to prevent settling or clumping of light particles available in raw materials like sand, Aluminum Powder, quick Lime Etc. It also contains blend of some organic oils and surfactants and polymers to provide strength to cell walls at green stage inside the mass during reaction between solid mass, water and Metal Powder as well as liberation of Hydrogen gas by adjusting the surface tension of mass.Role of Soluble Oil plays a very important in prevention of mould shrinkage as it prevents the water separation from the solid mass and also plays important role in controlling the rate of reaction between various reactants like calcium (from cement & Lime) and Silica( From Cement & Sand ) which results in 1:1 nm Tobermorite( C- S-H Calcium Silicate Hydrate ) which is principal final product of AAC. To meet the growing demands of 21% century and ever evolving galvanizing technology karshati has developed a unique product Most automotive producers have banned the use of hexavalent chrome passivations  for all parts beginning in the year 2003 and other industries will follow soon this ban. Therefore, the hexavalent chrome passivations now used on galvanized steel for construction, furniture and other applications is expected be banned in the near future. New passivation systems based on trivalent chrome can replace the current hexavalent processes with the same or, if needed, a much higher coating weight. Depending on the coating weight, the corrosion protection can be similar or even higher. The new passivation coatings are harder, more scratch resistance and are contain less water compared to the old hexavalent chrome passivation coatings. Because of the lower water content, these new coatings are more heat resistant. Unlike the hexavalent chromate coatings which are colored, the trivalent passivation coatings are colorless but have an iridescent appearance changing from colorless to green depending on the thickness. The application of a colorless topcoat to these trivalent coatings gives back the original appearance of the zinc coating.
