    • Product description  MERETA 320 is a high performance, fully synthetic industrial gear oil. MERETA 320 is based on polyalphaolefin with effective additives, providing exceptional protection for machine components and extending service life. Application areas MERETA 320 has been specially developed and optimised for use as a gear oil and circulation oil, as well as for hydraulic systems with extreme temperatures. The product is recommended for operating temperatures of up to +110°C in continuous operation. Temporary temperature peaks of up to +180 °C may be permitted without forming harmful oxidation products or deposits. Characteristics and advantages MERETA 320 provides exceptional protection against micropitting and wear in the event of extreme temperatures and heavy loads, as well as extremely good protection against corrosion. The product lubricates very effectively, even at low temperatures, and delivers optimised oxidation stability, which offers very good protection against degradation at high temperatures. These properties produce benefits in the form of problem-free operation, minimal maintenance, extended oil change intervals and a longer service life for bearings and gears. The oil is fully miscible with mineral oil based products. Tests and approvals Classified as DIN 51517-CLP. Classified as ISO-L-CKD, ISO-L-CKE and ISO-L-PAD in accordance with ISO 6743. Friction properties in SKF's rig for roller bearings μ = 0.0272. Filterability factor >100 in accordance with Cetop. Seal Compatibility Index 5-6% according to IP 278. Flender BA 7300 table A. Alfa Laval group D Handling and storage Avoid skin contact. In the event of contact with skin, wash with soap and water. Dispose of used oil at a recycling station or equivalent. Safety data sheets are available on or supplied on request.
