Cross-flow heat exchanger The cross-flow heat exchanger is built from aluminum plates. Plates in special version are additionally covered with a layer of epoxy resin, between which supplying and returning air flows (streams are either cross-flow or separated from each other). Discharged air flows through some of ducts between the plates heating them,  while the fresh air flows through remaining ducts, drawing heat from heated plates. Advantages of cross-flow heat exchanger are its simple design, no moving parts and system tightness. Heat exchangers reaches efficiency of 55 to 70%. Product Description :  General Information The rotary heat exchanger consists of a rotating wheel, casing and drive unit. As the wheel rotates slowly, the heat from the exhaust air is picked up by the aluminium in the matrix and transferred to the cool supply air. Rotary heat exchangers are often the preferred choice and the high sensible efficiency that they provide. The possibility of adding coating to the wheel, which allows latent transfer, is another factor favoring these products.   Matrix Material  Aluminium (Condensation) :The main use for an aluminium matrix is the transfer of temperature between the cold and the warm air- flow.
