Krishna Metal & Alloys is recognized as a dependable Sourcing Agents of Heavy Metal Scrap (HMS). We deal in two types of Heavy Metal Scrap i.e. HMS #1 and HMS #2.
HMS #1 Steel Scrap is wrought iron or steel scrap .250â (one quarter inch) and over in thickness with individual pieces not exceeding 5 feet (60â) in length with widths around 18â to 36â. The material is bundled in a manner consistent with charging box size so the product will insure compact charging (in a furnace). Number 1 HMS is not supposed to have galvanized or other metallically coated steels.
HMS #2 Steel Scrap (common foundry grade) is wrought iron and steel scrap â both black and galvanized (coated) at least. 125" (one-eighth inch) thick. This material is also bundled in a manner consistent with charging box size so the product will insure compact charging.
