Nutritional Facts : Turmeric is an ancient spice, a native of South East Asia, that is derived from the rhizome or underground stem of a ginger-like plant. Usage : Sambar is prepared differently from region to region. This Aadhirai blend is suited to all the various Sambar preparations. Soak 100 gms. dal for 30 minutes. Boil dal with brinjal, drumstick, pumpkin, and onions. Add 2 tbsp of tamarind juice, chilli powder, and salt. Add 1 heaped tbsp of Aadhirai Sambar Powder. Bring it to a simmer. Remove from fire. Serve.

USAGE To cook 500 grams of mutton curry – Grind to fine paste 2 onions. Mix with 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste. Add salt and 4 tbsp curd. Marinate cleaned and cut mutton pieces with mixture. Keep for 2 hrs. Heat 4 tbsp oil, fry till crisp 2 sliced onions. Add marinated mutton, 3 tsp Aadhirai Mutton masala. Stir for 5 mins. Add 2 cups of water. Pressure cook for 10 mins.

USAGE : Can be used in mildly flavored all Chicken dishes, particularly those deriving its thickening foundation from tomato and onion.
