The suction hoses shall be as uniform as commercially practicable in colour, opacity, and other physical properties. They shall be made of flexible thermoplastic material reinforced internally with a helix of thermoplastic of similar structure. The flexible and reinforcing components shall be properly fused and free from visible cracks, porosity, foreign materials, or other defects that could lead to failure during use.
