We, as M/s Eastern Minerals started our journey long back in 1962 as a mining company for producing minerals Pyrophyllite and Diaspore. Mined Diaspore and Pyrophyllite are being calcined in Shaft kiln at 1000C to remove impurity and make them suitable for use in ceramics, Rubber, Paints, Refractories, Chemicals, Synthetic Diamond manufacturing.
In 1992 a part of its forward integration we had set up refractory manufacturing facilities in the name of M/s Eastern Refractories Limited, for the purpose of manufacturing Fireclay & High Alumina Refractories ranging from 30% Al2O3 to 90% Al2O3 by utilizing mainly the minerals Diaspore and Pyrophyllite from our own mine.
In 2009 M/s Eastern Refractoires Limited has become joint venture partner of M/s. TRL Krosaki Refractories Ltd., (formerly Tata Refractories Ltd.). Where TRL Krosaki (TRLK) is the world’s fourth largest refractory manufacturer, is now having full control of our MP Plant over Technology, R&D, and Marketing and after sales service.
We are ISO 9001:2008 certified company with state of the art manufacturing facilities. Our main motto is to full fill customer’s requirement and to satisfy customer. We would like to be Top Refractory Producing Company in India.
Today, TRL MP(O) is pioneer for manufacturing products like High Alumina, Monolithic, PCPF shape Refractories having a consolidated installed capacity of 18000 TPA (FY’18). Its key customers are the Steel, Cement, Glass, Copper and Aluminium industries etc.
