Hour meterSafe Load Indicators (SLI) are designed for safe loadingoperation of tower cranes.During the operation of a tower crane without SLI, theoperator & signalman to manually estimate approx weightof the load to be lifted and radius at which the load is to behandled. Most of the time these rough estimations result inhandling issues or crane can be put into very high risk ofoverloading.To manage these issues, cranes are equipped with SLI system which monitors the lifted load in closedloop control and restrict the trolley movement beyond the limits thereby safe operation of crane canebe assured even if the operator makes wrong assumption.The SLI prevents the crane from over loading at any point according to the OEM load chart and warns(audio & visual) the operator when 80% of rated load achieved at the current trolley position. Also theoperation speed is brought to slow speed automatically. When the load saturation (100%) reached atthe current trolley position then SLI stops further operation of crane in unsafe directions with audio andvisual indications.Our SLI Design directly interface with the crane controls thereby even if there is a failure of the cranetrolley & hoisting limits, the SLI will ensure and safe operation of the crane.Specifications Details
