MYCRO-WR – LS10 is a chlorine-free water lowering admixture based on specific sugar-reduced lignosulphates. It comes in a dark brown solution that dissolves in water right away. It improves the fluidity of the concrete and helps the water content of the mixture work more efficiently by dispersing the fine particles. As a result, advantages like water reduction and enhanced strengths can be realized. This also results in. higher levels of workability for the same water content.   Lignosulfonates are one of the most commonly used water-reducing admixtures in concrete. It is a one-component product that has excellent adhesion to properly prepared surfaces. It controls corrosion and rust bleed through, even after years of service. It is thermally stable and resists cracking and peeling due to weather extremes and ultraviolet exposure. Where to use:   Metal Roofs & Buildings Single Ply Roofs • Modified & BUR Roofs Urethane Foam Roofs Surface preparation: The surface must be free of any oils, moisture, rust scale, soil or other contaminates that may interfere with good adhesion. Remove any loose material from seams or other surfaces with a wire brush or scraper. Oil and grease should also be removed with solvents or an appropriate detergent cleaner. In many cases high pressure water blast will be sufficient to prepare the surface.   Application temperatures: For best results, the temperature of the ambient air and the substrate should be within a range of 15 -35 0C. For best spray application, the product should be at a minimum of 15 0C. YCRO-SP-PC 500 is built on a special mixed design of melamine formaldehyde  and polycarboxylic ether polymer with lengthy lateral chains, it differs from traditional superplasticizers. Micro-con AIR is a chloride free air entraining admixture based on neutralized Vinson resin. Micro-con AIR acts at the interface between the mixing water and cement/aggregate particles to produce microscopic air bubbles, which are evenly distributed throughout the concrete. The entrained air enhances durability by providingprotection. Against the rapid temperature changes found in freezing and thawing conditions and with the use of de-icing salts. Mycrocon AIR forms the solid-water interface where directive forces exist in the cement surface, the polar groups become bound to the solid with the nonpolar groups oriented toward the water, making the cement surface hydrophobic so that air can displace water and remain attached to the solid particles as bubbles.   Where to use: ➢ To produce air entrained concrete that increased durability and resistance to damage by frost and deicing salts. This allows the optimisation of admixture dosage and mix design and provides a complete assessment of the concrete mix.   As a starting point for trials a dosage of 0.08 litres/100kg of cement will typically give an air content of 5% ± 1.5% in a medium workability concrete of 300- 350 kg/m3 cementitious content.
